Congratulations to Lauryn Dwight for winning Artist of the Month!
She won with her oversized acrylic landscape painting in a greyscale color scheme focusing on different brush strokes and going out of her comfort zone in many different ways.
She was joined by 7 other artists in the Art Student Association (ASA) from Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Norway, Florence, West Iron, Forest Park, and Niagara.
The artist the ASA invited this month was local oil painter, Stephen Wysocki. While he was painting 7-minute portraits of each student, the young artists worked on their own portrait skills.
Thank you to the Chippewa Club of Iron Mountain for hosting us with a delicious lunch and for Stephen for supporting our young artists.
Congratulations to all the artists this month!
