Goodman-Armstrong Creek School District will run on a two hour delay this morning. Again, school will start at 10:00 AM today, Tuesday, February 18,2025.
Some of the 1st and 2nd graders wanted to remind you to stay cozy during this winter with their Cozy Critters project.
They practiced weaving and then drew an animal that is cozy in bed with their quilts.
Reminder that Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Wednesday (2/12/25) , 3:30-6:30pm!

Congratulations to Autumn Gentz for being voted the Artist of the Month! She did a fantastic graphite drawing of a few cows.
She joined the other students from the 8 other schools in the Art Student Association for a lunch and to meet with a local artist. The local artist, Stephen Wysocki, was there to do oil painting portraits of each student. He shared his experience and different tips to the students while painting. The students used this time to practice and sketch out portraits of each other.
Congratulations to all of the artists this month - especially Autumn!

A few students went to student day at the WEMSA Expo last Friday - the 24th!
Student Day at the WEMSA Conference is for High School Students across Wisconsin and bordering states. They were able to learn about EMS and experience interactive hands-on learning lab/ workshops throughout the day.
The 3rd/4th & 5th/6th grade classes made a mixed media: "Scarf Selfie"
They used oil pastels with a new technique of layering and scratching to reveal the color underneath in different patterns. Then watercolor with a salt resist for the snowy background.

GAC will run on a two hour delay because of bus issues, due to the cold weather, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Monday, January 20, is an in-service day for staff. 4K - 12 students do not have school. On Tuesday, January 21, school will be closed due to the cold weather that is predicted to hit our area. Again, no school or after school activities on Monday or Tuesday, January 20 and 21, 2025.
