ELA 10 revealing the secret messages they wrote with invisible ink yesterday.

ELA 10 writing with invisible ink for our mystery unit. Tomorrow we will use a reagent (our new vocabulary word) to reveal these mysterious messages!

Our independent art students are creating pinch pots and also coil pots in art class. Thank you to our beloved, retired art teacher, Mrs. Steinke, for helping co-teach and for getting us started in our clay process.

Our third and fourth graders studied Cubism by Pablo Picasso. They also learned about his “Blue Period” and monochromatic colors. Here are a couple of their Picasso monochromatic blue guitars that they created in art class.

A few art projects from this week. Adorable Kindergarten 3D beach crabs. Third and fourth grade cardboard Pablo Picasso Cubist masks. Two of our students collaborated on a flower drawing during “Free Time” when class projects were finished.

The school has ordered the Homecoming t-shirts for the students. Each class has their own color. The cost of the t-shirt is $14 and will need to be turned in by Friday, October 8, 2021. If parents are unable to afford the t-shirts, please notify us. Go Predators!
It’s independent reading day at GAC Middle/High School! Our theme this year is Bookopoly. Our independent reading allows students to explore reading for pleasure while practicing valuable reading strategies. Let’s take a ride in the Reading Railroad!

2020-2021 yearbooks are now available for $25. Older yearbooks are available for $10. Please see or contact Kim Erickson for more details.

Our first and second graders created these adorable frogs from toilet paper rolls. Tomorrow we will read some of the Froggy books.

Welding Santa strikes again! A big thanks to George Mazur for another donation of welding equipment.

I’m collecting old music cd’s or DVD’s, round plastic caps or lids of all sizes (gallon milk, frosting containers, soda liters, miracle whip, etc) cardboard egg cartons, round cardboard oatmeal covers, and round cardboard ice cream covers for some upcoming elementary art projects
Our 4K and Kindergarten class used balloons and swirled paint to create prints of the Hungry Caterpillar from the book we read yesterday. We look forward to finishing our art project by adding feet, antennae, and faces.

Our first elementary art project of the school year. Each student completed a handprint that we then used as a flower collage for our art room bulletin board. Awesome job by our elementary students! Have a great weekend!

Change in tonight's football game:

Senior Class of 2022 - Last First Day

Dear families, Tonight have a little grace for yourself and your kid(s). Everyone is a little nervous or excited. You may have witnessed and even had some big emotions over the last few days. Breath. Tomorrow we will welcome your child back to school. We have been planning and anticipating a wonderful first day.
Thank you Goodman-Armstrong Creek Lions Club for donating backpacks and supplies. They also presented the school with a $1,063.00 donation for snacks for the elementary students.
The Goodman-Armstrong Creek School District would like to welcome Mrs. Kim Erickson to our family. Mrs. Erickson will be our 4K-12th grade Art Teacher!
Never forget how lucky we are living where we live! I spent yesterday morning on the phone looking for welding equipment for the students at school with no luck, I come home to a porch full of welding gear donated from someone which I later found out to be my neighbor. We will get through the tough times together as a community of family and friends. Our students learn about giving and togetherness just by your examples everyday. We may not always agree, we may not always get along but together we are a family. Thank you for being there for our students.
