The Goodman - Armstrong Creek School District is located in Marinette County, Wisconsin. This beautiful location in rural Northeastern Wisconsin is a recreation paradise with plenty of lakes, forest lands, rivers and trails.

I would like to invite you to participate in the 2nd Goodman-Armstrong Creek Bio Blitz.

Last year was so informative for all, that we are beginning to promote the 2nd round.

Please consider helping us with species identification on:

Friday May 25, 2012

Early Bird Walk at 6:00 am

General session starting at 9:00 lasting till 2:00

We will try to do an evening program on bats and moths on Thursday May 24, starting at 9:00pm

All specialists will receive stipends for travel. Lunch, water and snacks will be served on site throughout the day. Please RSVP if you will be attending and send any names of people who you think might want to help as well.

A few dates to note:

 

·       Band Festival at Three Lakes on Thursday, May 10.

 

·       High School Awards (7-12) are Wednesday, May 16 at 6:00.

 

·       May 21 is the High School Honors/Reward Trip to Appleton to watch the Timber Rattlers play some baseball.

 

·       There will be an early release on Wednesday, May 23.

 

·       High School Graduation at 1:00 on May 26.

 

·       LAST DAY OF SCHOOL Friday, June 1, Half Day

 

Are you ready for some football? No, it's not time for Predator football yet, but the UP Arctic Blast will be hosting a game here on Saturday, June 2 at 4:00. Admission is $3 for students/child and $5 for adults. Concessions will be available. Stop on out and take in some semi-professional football action.

 

Congratulations to the entire Forensics Team on another successful trip to the state competition.  Gold medals (perfect score of 25 points) were awarded to Irina Lisii and Alex Gardner.  Silver medals (23 or 24 points) were awarded to Dillon Church, Craig Kowalkowski, Brennan Pierquet, Jacob Garrelts, Roman Grebin, Jerry Kuklinski, Lindsey Malliet, Crystal Cole, and Destini Eliasson.  Bronze medals were earned by Paige Bousley, Mallory Garsow, Ashley Janczewski, Rachel Stankevich, Brody Millan, Desiree Hoffmann, Shelby Maruszczak, and Bob Hawley.  A special thank you to Dan Stec for his assistance to Dillon Church in his demonstration.
