4K-12 Music/Band Teacher    (1.0 FTE)

 

The school district of Goodman-Armstrong Creek is seeking an enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for 4K-12th grade music for the district.  The individual would be responsible for general music for split grade levels 4K/K, 1/2, 3/4, 5th grade band, middle school band (grades 6-8) and high school band (grades 9-12).  The candidate will be responsible for coordinating a 4K-12th grade winter and spring concert, pep band, marching band at Homecoming, Solo/Ensemble festival, and Large Group Festival.  The candidate should be willing to meet the needs of any special education student by providing adaptive music on an individual or small group basis.  As part of the GAC school staff he or she will be part of a team that works to meet the needs of every child, every day.  At G-AC we work as a team through PBIS, PLCs, and collaborative student projects. Training and mentoring will be provided.

Applicants must have, or be eligible to obtain, necessary licensure for the position from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
